Dynamite Muay Thai fighter Jimmy training under 12 months to fight will be another technically skilled Dynamite Sor. Nak Dee representative of Kru Dennis making his debut also like most Dynamite Muay Thai Fighters having no prior martial arts experience nor previous fight experience. Kru Dennis opting for the majority of his team to skip amateur level Muay thai competition and over prepare his fighters to step straight into professional level Muay Thai.

Jimmy making his debut after almost missing his fight due to an opponent pull out weeks before the confirmation

Jimmy ‘The After Party’ is able to drop down to fight at 62.00kg. Unfortunately just like his Dynamite Sor. Nak Dee team mate Moana last week, Jimmy’s opponent from another Melbourne CBD based gym, Josh from Absolute MMA has withdrawn from the fight meaning that Jimmy will now have to step up to another weight division to get a fight at 64.2kg for tomorrow night at the Warriors Way event (6th of August 2016 Doncaster)

Unanimous points WIN!

Dynamite Muay Thai Fighter Moana Sor. Nak Dee known by his team mates as ‘Sing Falang’ (Foreign Lion) from technical fighting style claims a unanimous points victory over his Hanggar 4 opponent.

Moana ‘Sing Falang’ (left) secures another victory for team Dynamite Muay Thai (aka Sor. Nak Dee) against a heavier, more experienced opponent at Ultimate Promotions ULTIMATE LEGENDS

Sing Falang who came in fighting above his weight category last night secures the Unanimous judges decision win with a strong technical focus and clinic style clinching on his much heavier opponent.

Originally the Dynamite Muay Thai Sor. Nak Dee Fighter who walks around at the weight his opponent came in at started strong, controlling the pace and staying composed throughout all the rounds dominating technically and manoeuvring his opponent.  After a few set backs coming into this fight, one being that his original opponent pulled out two weeks before the fight Moana had to then step up a weight division to be granted a fight. His opponent didn’t make weight coming in almost 2 plus kilograms over the weight division at 74kg instead of the agreed 72kg. General rule of thumb implies that his opponent can drop anywhere between 6-8 kilograms pre fight so Moana’s more experienced opponent will rehydrate much heavier than Moana’s walking weight at 74Kg.

All in all, as the Dynamite Muay Thai Sor. Nak Dee fight team will confirm, the strenuous lead up involved that the Dynamite Muay Thai Sor. Nak Dee fighters must endure in the lead up makes the actual fight the easiest part of the journey. “99.9% of the time the testing and taxing weeks leading up to the fight will be the determining make or break factor in the success or failure of my team, if they don’t quit the gym in the lead up then they’ll walk through any obstacles during fight time” Kru Dennis Sor. Nak Dee.

Moana dubbed by Dynamite Muay Thai Sor. Nak Dee’s Head Coach, Kru Dennis as Moana ‘Sing Falang’ Sor. Nak Dee.  ”Sing” Meaning Lion in Thai, a revered fight name as it refers the fighter as never taking a back step and presenting to the opponent a fighter with a heart of a lion, “Falang” meaning Foreigner in Thai. A name like the Foreign Lion commands great respect amongst the Thais as a warrior.

As per Thai – style Muay Thai gym tradition, Moana  will adopt the gym’s surname ( Sor. Nak Dee) along with his newly earned fight name ‘Sing Falang’ and be privileged to adorn the green robe of Dynamite Muay Thai Sor. Nak Dee bearing the fight family banner covered in blessings from auspicious monks of Bangkok, Thailand.

Last but not least the Dynamite Muay Thai Sor. Nak Dee fighter Moana ‘Sing Falang’ will proudly wear the Dynamite male Muay Thai head dress. The famous orange Mongkon weighted in blessed cloths tied on by the above mentioned monks each time it is brought to the temple for the monks to chant matras evoking power, protection and strength for the bearer in battle.

The Mongkong has been worn all throughout Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore and most cities of Australia. It has had a significantly busy 4 and a half years since the club’s inception as the official Male head dress of Dynamite Muay Thai and the Sor. Nak Dee family. The Mongkok has a distinct signature to the Dynamite Muay Thai Sor. Nak Dee gym with the extensive blessings which Kru Dennis has blessed every time he steps foot in Thailand (Basically twice every 5-6 weeks) The material is off a renown Monk’s former robe at the famous Wat Bang Phra temple of Bangkok’s Nakhon Chai Si province.

The females of Dynamite Muay Thai Sor. Nak Dee fight family also have one specifically for them to wear which is equally weighted down in blessed cloths from the temples that has been worn extensively in the same countries, cities if not more due to the very active female contingent in Dynamite Muay Thai Sor. Nak Dee fight family.

Back to the event, the show kicks off 8pm sharp but the doors open 6:30pm for the early birds looking for a better view from the general entry area.

Rise to Dynamite Naksoo (Dynamite Warrior)

Dynamite Muay Thai Sor. Nak Dee prides itself on the team’s saying “One Club, Many Strengths!” meaning team work makes the dream work.

Committed to traditional and competition Muay Thai, ring craft, technicality and fine tuning of the fight family’s individual skills whilst retaining a distinct and recognisable trait amongst all of  the fighters of Kru Dennis of Dynamite Muay Thai’s fighting wing of the club, ‘Sor. Nak Dee’ or Dynamite Warrior.

Proving to the newer generation of members and students wishing to become competitors or members simply looking for that edge that the training provides. The methods may be extreme in some cases and quite tame in others though through and through all the ideals are trialled, tested and constantly evolving to enhance the mark of excellence for the ones that progress through to become a Sor. Nak Dee fighter eventually going on to represent the gym, the City, the state and most cases the country on the international Dynamite Muay Thai event  held across Indonesia, Malaysia and now Australia from 2016.

99.9% of  Dynamite Sor. Nak Dee’s fight team have been trained from zero to fight prep in-house with no previous knowledge or experience. Beginning usually with a series of in-house competition experience held internally for ‘Dynamite members only’ concreting skills sets and diminishing fear of the ring as early as 3 months post joining the club. From here the fighter will learn teamwork, camaraderie and proven basics, effective for competitive Muay Thai fighting.

Named ‘DYNAFITE’ This competition is held approximately every 2-3 months for experience and whilst great for building confidence in and out of the ring, Kru Dennis and Dynamite Muay Thai utilise this as a talent search and an invitation to represent Team Sor. Nak Dee.

In other words Dynamite’s Dynafite was created to better prepare the Sor. Nak Dee up and comers for the ugly side prior to the bright lights and loud cheering crowds. We are talking grass roots to a new extreme. Starting with a fight regimen, minimum 6 kilogram final week weight cut and to compete modified Muay Thai rules 3 x 1.5 minute rounds, 3 x 2 minute rounds, 5 x 2 minute rounds and 4 man/4 women eliminator tournaments.

For the newer fighters who’ve yet to step into a real fight promotion, the novice will use shin pads, for the amateur contenders, no shin pads and or 5 x 2 minute rounds of hard sparring to make it as real as possible.

Fight photos to come, stay tuned…
